Ryan Reynolds wants Wesley Snipes to get ‘Logan-Like’ final Blade 4 movie
Deadpool & Wolverine took the internet by storm with a multitude of surprising cameos from previous Marvel characters.
One of the most talked cameo is that of Wesley Snipes’s Blade.
Snipes first starred as Blade in the 1998’s titular movie. The success of the film spawned two more sequels in 2002’s Blade II, and 2004’s Blade: Trinity.
Ryan Reynolds has recently expressed his desire to see Wesley Snipes return to the big screen as Blade in a final, standalone film.
There is no Fox Marvel Universe or MCU without Blade first creating a market. He’s Marvel Daddy. Please retweet for a Logan-like send off. #DeadpoolAndWolverine pic.twitter.com/wGv2ixBT8G

He confidently stated that the 1998 movie Blade and its sequels paved the way for the superhero film genre. He believes that without Blade, movies like X-Men or the Marvel Cinematic Universe wouldn’t exist.
Reynolds posted on X.
“There is no Fox Marvel Universe or MCU without Blade first creating a market. He’s Marvel Daddy. Please retweet for a Logan-like send off.”
Logan is widely considered Wolverine’s best solo movie and one of the finest comic book films ever made.

This makes the idea of a new Wesley Snipes Blade movie in a similar style very appealing.
The original Blade trilogy was R-rated, like Logan, suggesting a grittier conclusion for the character would be appropriate.
Following the action scenes and witty dialogue of Deadpool & Wolverine, an R-rated, Logan-style Blade movie could take Snipes’ Daywalker on one final epic adventure.
Although it looks unlikely, as Marvel has already announced a Blade reboot starring Mahershala Ali. The reboot project has faced several delays but now seems to be gaining momentum.

The vampire film is set to begin principal photography in London, in the fall of 2024.
The upcoming Marvel movie will introduce the iconic vampire hunter, Eric Brooks, to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Marvel Studios’ Blade reboot is scheduled to hit theaters on November 7, 2025.
